PM Groisman expects the Parliament to adopt energy reforms next week
The package of reforms on an independent regulator in power sector, its accounting, improvement of the mechanisms on gas market, has to be adopted during the first days of new Parliament sessions, ukrinform.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladymyr Groisman announced it at a joint briefing with the European Comission vice-President on the issues of the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič.
PM said: "There is a formed package of reforms in the Ukrainian Parliament that need to be adopted. The government defined this legislation as prioritised including an independent regulator, accounting, gas market, etc.
"It all gives us an opportunity to take the next steps. We expect the Parliament to adopt these decisions starting from the first days of a new session," he added.
