In Odessa the Security Service of Ukraine detained a policeman who had made his victim to take out a loan to give a bribe.
The press service of the Security Service of Ukraine has announced this case on its official Facebook page.
"First of all, the rogue cop snatched the victim’s 7,000 hryvnias (240 euro), a gold chain and an expensive watch.
Then he wished a new TV from a well-known manufacturer worth 18,000 hryvnias (616 euro).
The victim did not have such an amount of money. So he was forced to formalize a consumer credit for the above mentioned aim. What is more — the trickster became a credit bondsman in this financial deal," the statement says.
It is also reported that the police officer demanded a bribe as a payment for avoiding criminal liability for a theft.
