“In 2015-2016, we opened markets of 11 countries for 300 Ukrainian enterprises to supply meat and milk products. We expect to open more markets in the future, and we’re looking forward to continue with European integration of Ukraine”, Minister Olexiy Pavlenko said at a briefing during the Cabinet session in Kyiv.

The official added that Ukraine managed to diversify food exports almost totally as Ukraine-Russia trade war is going on.
“We survived in that war with the Russian Federation. As of now, we export less than 1 percent of our production to that country”, Pavlenko noted.
For the last few weeks, Kyiv agreed to trade with Iran and United Arab Emirates. In total, Ukraine supplies food to 190 countries.
