Over 15 tons of fruits from Poland and Spain have been destroyed in Crimea, Russian agricultural watchdog informed.
According to the report, the fruits have been shipped to the peninsula illegally.
’15 tons of apples from Poland and 156 kg of oranges from Spain have been discovered by state inspectors and staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across Crimea. It has been established, that Belarus imported these products’, - the report reads.
Currently authorities are trying to establish ways of how the fruits were shipped to Crimea.

Russia and occupied Crimea have imposed limiting measures on import of agricultural and food products from countries, which has earlier imposed economic sanctions against the Russian Federation due to occupation of Crimea.
Starting August 6, 2015, under Vladimir Putin’s decree, the illegal products will be destroyed instead of being shipped back to exporters, as before.
