Iran to consider Ukraine's proposal to transit Iran's oil to Slovakia, Czech Republic
Iran will examine Ukraine's proposal to transit Iran's oil to Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
It was reported by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh after he held talks with Ukraine's Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Nasalyk in Tehran, on August 1.
According to Iran's Oil Ministry, Tehran is also ready to start oil cooperation with Ukraine, despite the fact the Ukraine's refining capacity is low, so it imports oil derivatives.
Iranian media IRNA and Shana also added that Kyiv 'is keen on the transit of Iranian oil and gas to Eastern European countries'.
Zanganeh noted that Ukraine's engineering industry also looks attractive. The parties are currently working on cooperation in the field of gas turbines and compressors.
