The banker is reported to have embezzled 870m hryvnas.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine in Kyiv brought a suspicion of crime to the chairman of the board of the Mickailivsky bank, JSC. He is incriminated a theft of 870m hryvnas of the bank funds and a bankruptcy of the financial agency.
“The servant collaborated with the indefinite individuals and performed an illegal scheme that made it possible to remove many millions of the depositors’ money from the bank,” press-ofiice of the Prosecutor’s office in Kyiv reported.
The head of the board was detained while in performance of the operation conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office, the Head department of the National police, and Security Service of Ukraine.
It is also reported the bank servant is indicted for crimes prescribed by the paragraph 5 of the Article 192 (embezzlement, squander, acquisition of property by the abuse of power on a large scale or as an organized group), paragraph 1 of the Article 218 ( causing a bankruptcy).
