All the ten state investment projects still await to be implemented
None of the 10 priority state investment projects has started to be implemented this year, albeit UAH1bln were allocated, Focus.
The First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yulia Kovaliv shared in an interview with Focus.
Kovaliv said: "UAH1bln have been allocated to the investment projects . These funds are not spent because after six months, none of the selected projects have actually started to be implemented. The main reason of slipping is bureaucracy.
"Examination and approval can take a very long time. Another problem is the practice of transparent tenders refutation via Antimonopoly Committee and blocking their results through the court decisions. We evaluate the situation based on the 9 months results. Funding primarily will be directed to projects that will be able to be fulfilled quicker," the First Deputy Minister added.
