Ukraine expects $1bln of US loan guarantees by the end of the month
Ukraine has completed all the requirements to get the money, UNIAN.
Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements for $1bln loan guarantee from the US government and expects to receive these funds by the end of the month.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance in the social network Facebook, citing the statement of the Finance Minister of Ukraine Alexander Daniluk during the opening of the conference to attract foreign investment to "Ukraine Investor Day", organized by Dragon Capital in London.
According to the report, the event got dozens of investors from around the world to discuss investment opportunities in securities and economy of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported the government of Ukraine on June 3 signed an agreement with the US government to provide loan guarantees to country amounted $1bln under agreements between the top leadership of both countries.
The agreement is designed to support the program of economic reforms in Ukraine, supported by the IMF, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and other members of the international community, and to ensure continued access to capital markets Ukraine.
