The Employment Service registered 10% less unemployed compared to the last year, UBR.
Around 400 thousand unemployed people have been registered by the Employment Service as of today.
This was stated by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko in an interview to the channel 112 Ukraine.
The Vice Prime Minister said: "We have by now a stable situation. Compared to the previous year, the Employment Service registered about 10% less than in the previous year.
"On account of the employment service today is about 400 thousand unemployed. If you look at the methodology of the International Labour Organization we have today at the level of 8.5% is of the total working-age population - 8.5% are unemployed," Rozenko added.
According to him, in general, the number of unemployed in the digital value is something around 1 million 800 thousand people.
The Vice Prime Minister said: "But a lot of people who say they are unemployed, while in the polling, are not unemployed because they are employed in the shadow sector of the economy.
"Therefore, the figures that I have named are quite correct, and the methodology of the International Labour Organization takes into account all these nuances ," he added.
