One billion is expected to be received in September.
National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects to get the third tranche of $1bln in the second half of September from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that plans to hold a meeting on cooperation with Ukraine on September 14.
This was announced today by the deputy head of the NBU Oleg Churiy.
The deputy head said: "This is equivalent to the SDR, there is $ 1bln. The money usually comes after the Council decision within 2-3 days, that is very fast.
" If the decision is positive, we will get it sooner than by the end of September already in the second decade," said Churiy.
After the IMF tranche, Ukraine will receive $1bln of state guarantees from the government of the United States and 600mln from the European Commission, which are also tied to the program with the IMF.
In total, this year the National Bank predicts to get two tranches from the IMF amounted to $2.3 billion.
