The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has increased the ceiling repayable financial support to farmers to UAH 500,000 from UAH 250,000.
Corresponding resolution No. 609 dated September 8, 2016, on amendments to the order of using funds provided in the national budget for support to farmers has been posted on the government's website.

According to an explanatory note to the document, now the procedure of selecting the winners is being improved, the range of areas of financial support is being expanded, the priorities, on which advantage in determining the winners of tenders will be given, is being determined.

Among these priorities are membership in agricultural service cooperatives, involvement in cattle breeding, cultivation of land of less than 500 hectares, growing fruit and vineyards, transition to production of organic goods (raw materials).
