Ukraine's foreign trade deficit amounted to almost $1bln
Ukrainian exports in January-July 2016 decreased by 10.5% to $ 19.545bln, imports by 4% to $ 20.493bln, UNIAN.
The deficit of foreign trade of the Ukrainian items in January-July 2016 amounted to $947.4mln compared to $485.4mln of surplus for the same period last year.
Export of goods from Ukraine in January-July 2016 to January-July 2015 decreased by 10.5% to $19.545bln, imports dropped by 4% to $20.493bln, according to the website of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The ratio of export to import coverage was 0.95 (January-July 2015 - 1.02).
Foreign trade operations were conducted with partners from 216 countries in this period.
