Ukraine is to get $1bln more by the end of September, PM
Bonds are set to be released under the the US government credit guarantees, UNIAN.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved today the decision to issue Eurobonds at 2.5% per annum for 5 years amounted to $1billion of the US government loan guarantees.
Money must be received by the end of September.
This was stated during a government meeting by the Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
The discussions of $ 1billion of loan guarantees from the US government have been on for almost a year already.
Recently it was reported that after a meeting of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the USA Vice President Joseph Biden, the case moved on.
This was possible only after Kyiv had received a $1billion loan from the IMF, which became a good sign for other international lenders and investors.
