Ukrainian State Audit found violations at the amount of UAH 8.6 billion for public procurement since the beginning of 2016, RBC.
Ukraine has canceled the tender for more than UAH 2.2 billion.
The State Audit Service of Ukraine revealed violations of UAH 8.6 billion in public procurement over 8 months of 2016, according to the State Audit Service.
During January-August 2016 violations of public procurement totaled UAH 8.6 billion, it goes in a statement.
It is also reported that not all the customers have taken into account the addressed recommendations.
As a result, tenders for more than UAH 2.2 billion have been canceled as well as contracts amounting to UAH 0.4 billion have been terminated.
In addition, it is reported that the most significant results to prevent the aforementioned violations were in regions of Cherkassy (UAH 556 million), Odesa (UAH 470 million), Ivano-Frankivsk (over UAH 163 million), Khmelnytsky (UAH 163 million), Sumy (almost UAH 140 million) and Kharkov (more than UAH 133 million).
