Israeli company intends to build roads in Ukraine
Several more foreign companies plan to enter road construction sector in Ukraine, UNIAN.
Israeli road construction company Shapir intends to open a representative office in Ukraine and to participate in tenders for repair and construction of Ukrainian roads, according to the Infrastructure Minister Vladymyr Omelian.
Infrastructure Minister posted on his Facebook page: "This was preceded by several months of negotiations, familiarization of their professionals with the realities and potential of our market.
"Some foreign motorway companies are also on the way. We break the monopoly of no-names and traditional participants of tenders. Our requirement is a legal registration and payment of taxes in Ukraine, new jobs," wrote the minister.
He stressed that now it is on the parliament to vote for the establishment of the Road fund.
