Ukraine and Moldova to build railway section to Romania
The construction project envisages to overhaul 6 km of Artsyz-Berezino way by the end of this year, UBR.
Ukraine and Moldova are set to build the railway section Berezino-Basarabeasca bypassing Transnistria.
As part of the preparation to the project implementation, 6 km of Artsyz-Berezino way will be overhauled before the end of 2016, according to "Ukragroconsult".
Following the meeting, the representatives of the "Railway of Moldova" and "Ukrzaliznytsia" have confirmed the possibility to organize passenger service on the route Artsyz - Basarabeasca - Reni.
The Odessa regional administration has approved the project to build the railway from Ukraine to Romania through the territory of Moldova, bypassing Transnistria.
