Currently, 277 Ukrainian enterprises are certified to export their products to the European markets, 35% of which supply products of animal origin.
The press service of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, referring to the head of the department Vladymyr Lapa reported: "We see the progress in the promotion of domestic producers on the EU market. So, now 277 Ukrainian enterprises have the right to export their products to the European market, of which 97 are companies that produce food products, 180 are companies that manufacture products of non-animal origin."
According to the report, among 97 food producers there are 7 that produce poultry, 19 - fish and fish products, 2 - eggs and egg products, 49 - honey, 5 - frog legs and snails, 1 - collagen and 1 - raw casings.
This year, 13 Ukrainian producers have entered the EU market.
"For many companies the right to export to the EU market is a matter of status and a significant advantage on other markets," Lapa added.
