Last year Nobel laureate for literature, Svetlana Alexievich is one of the four nominees for Baillie Gifford prize for non-fiction.
The winner will be announced on 15 November.
The four titles on this year’s shortlist are:

Alexievich who is Belarusian a campaigning journalist was awarded with Nobel Prize for “her polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time.”
