Terroristic DPR to shut down almost all Ukrainian TV channels
Leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic have issued an order to shut down all Ukrainian TV Channels because they “can spread the information of extremist character”.
This is stated in a letter by the so-called “DPR information ministry”, the text of which is available to Ukrinform.
“According to the operational data, in the near future the Ukrainian government is planning a complex of events to include blocks of information of extremist character in the network of Ukrainian TV Channels that are broadcasting in Donetsk People’s Republic (including sports, children, educational etc). The broadcasting of Ukrainian TV Channels must be terminated until February 10, 2016 in order to prevent the spread of materials and information of extremist character,” reads the letter.
