If presidential elections were held next Sunday, Petro Poroshenko, Yulia Tymoshenko and Andriy Sadovy would be the leading three figures in them. These are the results of a study conducted by Gorshenin’s Institute, which were presented at a press conference by the expert of the Department of Sociology Lyudmila Chetvertuhina.
Petro Poroshenko would be supported respectively by 17.2%, Yulia Tymoshenko – by 15.9%, Andriy Sadovy – by 11.8%, Oleg Lyashko – by 11.8%, Yuriy Boyko – by 10.7% Anatoliy Hrytsenko – by 10.6 % Dmitry Yarosh – by 3.6%, Gennady Korban – by 3.1%, Igor Kolomoisky – by 2.5%, Arseniy Yatseniuk – by 1.9%, Vitali Klitschko – by 1.0% of total quantity of respondents.
For another candidate are ready to vote 9.1% of people. Only those who announced their readiness to take part in the vote and said they decided on the choice of candidate, answered the questions.
The study was conducted from the 8 to the of 17 February, with 2,000 respondents aged from 18 years polled in all regions of Ukraine, except Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The error does not exceed 2.2%.
As a reminder, that Poroshenko won the early presidential elections in Ukraine on the 25 of May, 2014 in the first round, gaining 54.7% of the vote.
The next presidential elections should take place in 2019.
