In the occupied Crimea pro-Russian Court appointed to a Tatar man a fine of 10 000 rubles ($ 136) for the photo with a Ukrainian flag near the monument to Lenin in the center of Simferopol.
The decision was communicated on the page of the activist Veldar Shukurdzhiev who was appointed that very fine.
"By the decision of Simferopol’s "trial" of the Central District in the case of August 11, 2015 a fine of 10 thousand has been issued. There will be an appeal, but whatever the outcome, I do not intend to pay the penalty. I do not want, because I AM NOT GUILTY! I HAVE THE RIGHT on the photo with a Ukrainian flag near Lenin’s monument :) I do not recognize the decisions of the court! " - he wrote.
As you know, on August 12 in the Russian-occupied Crimea security forces detained activists of the Ukrainian Cultural Center Veldar Shukurdzhiev and Irina Kopylov for the photo with a Ukrainian flag.
On February 5 the Crimean Human Rights Group reported that the activist Veldar Shukurdzhiev was detained at the entrance to the Crimea by Russian border guards, but the reasons for the detention are unknown. He had a "conversation" with the border guards and the FSB.

In November 2015 at the entrance to the peninsula at the checkpoint "Kalanchak" he was detained for 7 hours without any plausible explanations.
In addition Simferopol’s "court" imposed to Shukurdzhiev a sentence of more than 40 hours of community service works for the use of Ukrainian symbols during a rally in honor of the birth of Shevchenko in Simferopol’s park named after Gagarin.
