International community can't protect Crimean Tatars from repressions – Chubarov
"There are whole groups in the territory of the occupied Crimea today that are exposed to the targeted repressive policy of the occupation authorities, in particular the Crimean Tatars," Chubarov said at an international conference in Kyiv.
"The Crimean Tatars are paying the price -- and the whole world is a witness -- for their consistency and their stance, which fully resonates with the position of the international community, and is based on international values, and the international community is not able to protect these people at this time," Chubarov noted.

"When we talk about tools applied by the international community, we should admit that they prove to be ineffective in terms of protecting people who are subjected to repressions in the occupied territories, and particularly in Crimea," Chubarov said.
