FBI ready to assist Ukrainian law enforcers in journalist Sheremet murder investigation - U.S. Department of State
The US Department of State reported that they are shocked and saddened by the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet in Kyiv, and are ready to provide assistance for the impartial investigation, in particular, involving the FBI.
Pavlo Sheremet, Belarusian citizen was an example of the journalist and was known for bold and tenacious materials. He played an important role in the Ukrainian democracy, highlighting important social issues, including corruption and government. Those who killed Sheremet were not tolerant to freedom and democracy, said the US State Department.

Also, the American agency welcomed the announcement by the police and Prosecutor’s Office to conduct in-depth investigation and bring those responsible to justice.

The US State Department expressed sympathy for Pavlo Sheremet's friends and family, to Olena Prytula and his colleagues in the "Ukrayinska Pravda".
