Ukraine's General Prosecutor’s Office to study English
The staff of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GPO) are compelled to study English, Channel 5.
The staff including its management are set to take classes of the English language starting in September 2017.
The deputy of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine Evgeniy Enyn said: “Starting in September all the staff members of the international law office of GPO, including institution’s management will be enrolled to the courses to improve their language.”
He also added that the General Prosecutor (GP) Yuri Lutsenko is the first GP in the history of Ukraine who talks to his international partners in English.
Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the Ukrainians to learn English as Ukraine is open to the world.
The President also demanded all the managers of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine to have the English level no lower than intermediate and higher-ranking managers to have it higher than intermediate.
