Minister of Economy of France to resign, Media
French Minister of Economy Emmanuel Macron is preparing to resign on Tuesday, Politico.
By submitting his resignation to the president Francois Hollande, Macron will focus on the forthcoming presidential election, Politico reports citing sources close to the minister.
Rumour had been speculated for a few months that resignation of Macron will let him concentrate on the possible participation in the presidential election in 2017 after he founded his own political movement "En Marche" ( "Forward ") back in April.
According to media reports, Macron intends to ask Hollande for the resignation on the afternoon meeting, which is not inscribed in the official schedule of the president.
