Turkish Interior Minister resigned
Efkan Ala resigned as the interior minister and was replaced by Süleyman Soylu, Daily Sabah.
The Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım announced the decision on the cabinet reshuffle after the meeting with the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Soylu became the sixth interior minister serving during Justice and Development (AK) Party governments.
He is reported to have business background, unlike previuos practice of interior ministers to have police or civil administration backgrounds.
