Salaries and pensions in Ukraine will be increased by 10%, PM
In Ukraine, from December 1, 2016 as stated in the state budget law for 2016 social standards will be increased by 10% in particular, salaries and pensions, UNIAN.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladymyr Groisman stated this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
Prime Minister said: "Since December 1, pensions and salaries will rise by 10%. We believe that this is not enough.
"We are working to dramatically increase the incomes of the Ukrainians, including stimulating domestic demand," Groisman added.
Earlier Groisman said that the Cabinet is developing a non-populist mechanism for increasing salaries and pensions, in charge of the economy.
