60% Ukrainians want Ukraine to join NATO - Klimkin

60% of the population support the Ukraine's accession to NATO, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in an interview with Die Welt.
Klimkin said: "Over the past three years, the support of the population on this issue has risen from 19 to 60 percent."
In addition, he said that he hoped Ukraine will enter NATO after 2020.
He also noted that Ukrainians see that NATO is not only a "security guarantee", but also an opportunity to bring the Ukrainian army to NATO standards.
"We set a goal to achieve this standard by 2020. But we'll see," he added.
