The Russian Prosecutor’s Office has issued a final indictment on the case against Natalia Sharina, Director of the Ukrainian Literature Library in Moscow. She is accused of extremism and embezzlement.
Sharina’s lawyers, Ivan Pavlov, told this to Interfax.
“In the near future the case will be sent to the Meshchansky Court of Moscow,” Pavlov said.
Natalia Sharina was detained in Moscow in late October 2015, and charged with inciting extremism and ethnic hatred because the library's collection allegedly included ‘extremist’ books.
In April, investigators charged Sharina with misallocating library funds.
