Putin didn't mention armed police mission after Normandy Four talks in Berlin - KremlinRussian President Vladimir Putin didn't mention the armed police mission in his statement after the late Normandy Four talks in Berlin, according to the official website of the Kremlin.

Petro Poroshenko earlier said that Russia had agreed to deploy armed monitors to Donbas.

‘I can particularly stress that the Russian side has also supported the necessity to deploy an armed police mission of the OSCE,' Poroshenko said, Interfax reports.

While that doesn't necessary mean that Russia doesn't support the idea, Putin only commented on expanding the OSCE mission.

‘We confirmed our readiness to expand the OSCE mission in the disengagement zone and in locations where heavy equipment is stored', Russian leader said (full text at the link)

He also added the Normandy Four would continue their joint efforts on the political track, looking for a solution on the special status for the separatist-held territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
