Georgia ruling party won landslide
Georgia's ruling party has scored a landslide win in a second round of parliamentary elections, according to official results released on Monday.
"Georgian Dream won in all but two of 50 single-mandate constituencies," Central Election Commission spokeswoman Ketevan Dangadze told AFP.
"Independent candidates have won in two constituencies," she added.
According to the results, Georgian Dream will take 115 seats, ex-president Saakashvili's party United National Movement 27 seats, and Alliance of Patriots six seats in the 150-seat legislature.
