Ukrainian parliament calls on EU to introduce visa-free regime with EU before Revolution of Dignity anniversary
Ukraine might ask for a decision on visa-free regime with EU in November, Interfax Ukraine.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the current plenary week can vote for the draft decision on the handling of a call to make a decision on the introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU before the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.
The anniversary is to take place on November 21, three years after Euromaidan events.
Parubiy said at a meeting of the conciliation parliamentary board on Monday: "During the meeting with European MPs it was agreed on the Verkhovna Rada’s appeal about the adoption of a visa-free regime before the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity. There is already a working group which is to prepare the decision. I think if not on Tuesday, then on Thursday we can jointly announce this decision and make a public appeal."
He said that Ukraine has fulfilled all conditions for a visa-free solution.
