UK supports UN General Assembly's resolution on human rights issues in Russian-occupied Crimea
UK supports a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, "State of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and in Sevastopol (Ukraine)." This British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson wrote on his page on Twitter.
Johnson said that he discussed the UK support of resolution with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin. The head of the British Foreign Ministry stressed that the current situation with human rights in Crimea is unacceptable.
As a reminder, the US Ambassador to NATO Douglas Lute spoke for that the European Union after the United States must maintain the sanctions regime against Russia until full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
