Ukrainian President, govt accept Saakashvili's resignation from Odesa governor post
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has authorised the dismissal of Mikheil Saakashvili from the post of the head of Odesa Regional State Administration.

A relevant decision was made on Wednesday, an Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"The issue was debated. [It was] adopted," Ukraine's Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Ostap Semerak told reporters after the session.
Later on Wednesday, Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko signed an order to remove the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili from his post. This was reported by the press service of the head of the state.
