Ukraine demands Russia to let Ukrainian consuls see detained Pavlo Gryb

Ukrainian Embassy in Russia and the countrys Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don turned to Russias foreign ministry. The Ukrainian side demands that the Russian government lets Ukrainian consuls see detained Pavlo Gryb, the son of Ukrainian military officer. The Russian administration should also report on the reasons why they detained the young man and provide him with lawyers protection. Vasyl Kyrylych, the deputy head of consulate provision of Ukraines Foreign Ministry reported that on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
We expect the decision to be made as soon as possible. Pavlos father, Ihor Gryb turned to us, asking for assistance. There are certain concerns that if it comes to mishandling or tortures, it could lead to fatal consequences. We informed Russian ombudsman about possible issues in this regard; we expect him to pay maximum attention to Grybs detention conditions. If hes held in detention, medical attention and other related questions must be solved properly, Kyrylych said.
Earlier,the officer of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine Igor Gryb published at Facebook that his son 19-years old Pavlo Gryb got lost in Belarus on August 24. His son went to Gomel to meet a girl with whom he got acquainted and communicated in the social networks. He supposed that 'the Russian FSB lured out Pavlo to Gomel under the pretence of the meeting with a girl and then detained him'.
Earlier today, it was reported that Pavlo Gryb is in the pre-trial dtention facility in Krasnodar, Russia.
