Ukraine is preparing a number of claims against Russia, which it intends to voice next week at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly. This was reported by Ukraine's permanent representative to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko in an interview with Ukrinform.

"There are a number of initiatives that I do not want to disclose now in advance for our former strategic partner, but they (the Russian side, - Ed.) should be sure that there will be many surprises on their way. Of course, it's all going to be about He noted that after the "peace initiative" of Russia, the Ukrainian side intends to once again draw the attention of the General Assembly to the possibility of introducing a UN peacekeeping contingent to the territory of Donbas. According to him, Ukraine has not stopped focusing on this since March 2015, but after the statement of the Russian Federation this issue is more acute.

Yelchenko clarified that all the claims will concern Russia's aggression in the east of Ukraine, as well as the annexation of Crimea.
