Once again the rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko is up in the air. Last November in Germany, Fury shocked the entire sport when he outboxed Klitschko to win the IBO/IBF/WBO/WBA heavyweight titles. It was the first loss for Klitschko in over a decade.
There was an immediate rematch clause in the contract - which Klitschko quickly exercised. That contractual clause precludes Fury from fighting anyone else.
The fight was initially targeted for April, but then postponed after Klitschko suffered a training injury. It was then scheduled to take place in July, and once again it was postponed - and this time it was Fury who suffered a training injury.
The two sides finally agreed on October 29th, in Manchester. Although the date has been floating out there for weeks, there has been nothing officially released, no press conferences or media functions.
Finally, in the early hours of Wednesday, Klitschko released a video message to his social media followers - advising them that Team Fury has been difficult to deal with - and he plans to take them to court. Klitschko is claiming that Fury is attempting to change the terms of their rematch - which were already agreed upon and signed by both parties in the original bout agreement.
