The Ukrainian citizen Stanislav Klykh illegally convicted in Russia was returned to the prison in Verkhneuralks. The human rights defender Mariya Tomak reported this at Facebook.
Stanislac Klykh is finally found. He returned to the prison in Verkhneuralks. The local advocate who works with Stanislav (controlling his state, incarceration condition) visited him yesterday on the request of the Chelyabinsk human rights defenders who was asked for this by the mother of Stanislav Klykh Tamara Ivanivna, she wrote.
Earlier the political prisoner Klykh was transferred from the prison to Magnitogorsk hospital. However, neither the lawyer nor the relatives had the information on the exact medical institution where Klykh was transferred, as well the aim and period.
Later, the Russian ombudsmen Tatiana Moskalkova claimed that Klykh is under treatment in the psychiatric hospital.
Mykola Karpyuk, the leader of the Ukrainian National Assembly, was detained in March 2014. Stanislav Klykh was detained in Russia in September 2014, when he came to Russia to visit his pregnant girlfriend.
The Russian jury said they both allegedly joined the Viking unit, which fought on the side of Chechen nationalists as they sought independence from Russia in the 1990s.The jury accused Karpyuk and Klykh of killing and wounding dozens of Russian servicemen. Klykh was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
