Gazprom still hopes for the resumption of negotiations on the Nord Stream2
Russian gas monopoly Gazprom still hopes for the resumption of negotiations on the Nord Stream2 pipeline project after improving relations between Russia and Turkey, said member of Gazprom's Board of Directors Oleg Aksyutin, according to RIA Novosti.
"The term for project execution will be clarified after the normalization of Russian-Turkish relations before the signing of intergovernmental agreements between our countries," Aksyutin said during the General Meeting of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to him, this project will strengthen the European position of Gazprom, as well as reduce the transit risks of gas supplies to the EU.
