The Boko Haram group has released a video of some of the secondary school girls it abducted in Government Secondary School Chibok, Borno state about two years ago, AllAfrica news agency reported.
In the 11 minutes video, the Abubakar Shekau-led group released through a journalist with access to them, a masked man appeared before some of the girls demanding that Chibok parents should tell the Federal Government to release Boko Haram members in prison so that girls can be released.
As was said, about forty of the girls had been married off, some of them were hit by bombs from a fighter jet. The Boko Haram fighter said some of them died while some others were convalescing.
The man called on Boko Haram members in various prisons across the country to be patient as the group would soon get them back.
The group chose one of the girls whose parents have been visible in the media in the coverage of the demand for the release of the girls to tell her parents to demand that the government release the Boko Haram fighters so that it can release the abducted school girls.
The masked man then dared Nigerian government to attempt to release the girls by force, threatening that they would not get the girls alive.
