Syrian ceasefire mostly holds: monitoring
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday that nationwide truce was mostly holding across Syria as its second day had started.
On the first hours of ceasefire on late Monday the observers reported some air attacks and shelling, including arears of the north Hama countryside, East Ghouta and north of Aleppo.
But during the fifteen hours since the ceasefire came into effect the Observatory didn’t record any civilian death.
The truce is a result of an agreement between Russia and the United States to halt Syria's five-year-old civil war.
