Deputy Speaker of the German government Ulrike Demmer said at a briefing that the German Federal Government supports the idea of a UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas, but believes that the involvement of separatists in negotiations on the UN peacekeeping mission is unacceptable, the NewsFront agency reported.
"The implementation of this decision should serve as an additional tool in the process of implementing the Minsk Agreements. Sanctions as a reaction of the international community to Russian aggression against Ukraine will continue until the Minsk agreements are fully implemented, "Demmer said, noting that from only proposals were heard from the Kremlin, not concrete steps.

Demmer also noted that the mandate of peacekeepers should extend to the entire territory of combat operations in the east of Ukraine, and not only to the line of demarcation.
"The mandate of the mission should extend to the entire territory of combat operations, and not only to the line of demarcation. By the way, it is the separatists, and not the Ukrainian army, that hamper the work of the OSCE CMM," the Deputy Speaker said.
As it was reported earlier Ukraine submitted its view on UN peacekeepers in Donbas to UN Secretary-General. The Ukrainian side insists on not having peacekeepers from Russia in Donbas.
