Vladislav Yerko is a famous artist who created the covers for all Ukrainian editions of "Harry Potter". The British publishing house «Little, Brown and Company» offered him to draw a cover to the new Harry Potter’s story - "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child!"
"Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" is the eighth book in Harry Potter series. It will come out on the 31th of July, 2016. This is not a novel, but a play, which will be put on a theatrical stage in London on July, 30. And the next day the readers will be able to get acquainted with the new-published book. It will be released both in print and electronic formats.
Vladislav Yerko will announce his decision during the Book Arsenal, at the moment of the presentation of the illustrated edition of the book "Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone."

"Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen, with the illustrations created by Yerko, released by Ukrainian publishing house "A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA", won the Grand Prix at the national all-Ukrainian competition "The Book of the Year 2000", and in 2005 two editions of the book were published in English, becoming the sales’ leader of the English publishing house "Templar". In the United States this book received the title of "The Best book for children 2006", and was marked by the medal from Andersen Fund.
Paulo Coelho gave to "Snow Queen" illustrated by Yerko the following valuation: "This is the most amazing children's book that I have seen in my life."
In 2008 a new Ukrainian translation of Shakespeare’s "Hamlet" by Yriy Andruhovych - illustrated by Yerko - was awarded with the Grand Prix of Lviv Forum of Publishers.
But the works of Yerko, which gained the biggest recognition and popularity, are the illustrations of the Ukrainian edition of the book series of Rowling's “Harry Potter”, the novels of Carlos Castaneda and Paulo Coelho.
The illustrations of Yerko to Coelho’s books have been released by the publishing house "Sofia" separately, in a single album, with the explanation that "after repeated increase of the images, more and more details appear in the illustrations made by Yerko."
